After graduating from medical school in China, Dr. Zheng practiced medicine for ten years at the West China Hospital, the top hospital in China. His keen interest in eye and visual sciences led to research fellowships at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City, Harvard Medical School, and the Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary. During this period, Dr. Zheng performed a wide range of eye research, from cornea to retina, and published several peer-reviewed articles.
Dr. Zheng earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry. Since completing his optometry training, he has been practicing in the Greater Boston area.
Dr. Zheng established Waverley Eye Care in 2015. He also works at the Eye Centers of Cambridge Health Alliance, a Harvard teaching hospital.
